# Adding a Custom Ads (2.0)

Now let’s see how to use it.\
Starting with version 2.0, you can directly insert your HTML ad code from the **Theme settings**.

### Adding a Html **Ads**

1. Click on the **"Design & branding"** tab on the **Ghost Admin**, and click the **Theme**.
2. From the **Theme settings**, locate the **Main Advertisement** and **Sidebar Advertisement** sections, and paste your HTML ad codes there.
3. All done!&#x20;

* One important thing to remember: the **Sidebar Advertisement** supports a maximum width of **250px**, but you can set the **height** value as you prefer.
* If you don't enter any ad code, the sections will simply remain empty.
